Dr Alice Finch
BVSc MVM
Orthopaedic Surgeon
Alice graduated from Massey University in 2015. She moved to Christchurch to work in mixed practice, before following her passion for surgery into small animal practice.
In 2020 Alice undertook a practicum at the VetSpecs specialist clinic as part of the Master of Veterinary Medicine (MVM) degree. Her thesis on TPLO cruciate surgery solidified her expertise in small animal orthopaedics and the promotion of successful incisional healing.
Alice is committed to providing an exceptional standard of care for her patients and ensuring the families are very well-informed both before and on the day of surgery. She is a crucial part of the unique pre-surgical and follow-up care that all AOC patients receive.
Alice spends her free time with her rescue cat Katara, or teaching and dancing Modern Jive with her partner.
