RCVS Advanced Practitioner in Small Animal Surgery
Rebecca developed a passion for surgery whilst working in the UK in the early 2000’s. She completed extensive training and post-graduate qualifications in England and Australia.
Rebecca practices in all areas of orthopaedic surgery, with special interests in lameness diagnosis, diseases of the stifle, joint conditions, fracture repair and pain management. Rebecca enjoys caring for family pets, working dogs and sporting dogs.
In addition to her clinical work, Rebecca is Head Examiner for ANZCVS Membership exams in surgery. She is also Lead Trainer for Vets for Compassion, an initiative dedicated to improving animal welfare in China.
Outside of work, Rebecca loves exploring New Zealand via campervan with her husband and children and gardening. Rebecca has a rescue pug called Lula and three cats, Minnow, Pippin and Taku.
