Kate completed her vet nursing certificate at ARA in 2013 where she volunteered in different vet clinics and kennels. She has worked with animals ever since, working in dog daycare, dog behaviour, pet nutrition and administration.
 
Kate currently lives in Woodend with her partner and their adored labradoodle, Murphy. She has always had a huge passion for animals which started when growing up in a vet clinic in the UK where her mum was a vet nurse. Kate's family moved to New Zealand when she was seven, and her passion for animals grew whilst living on her rural farm.

Kate loves to explore and be outdoors in nature. In her spare time, she enjoys training at the gym, swimming, skiing and travelling to new and exciting places with her dog, Murph.

It’s safe to say Kate has a huge dog obsession! She is incredibly excited to be a part of the Animal Orthopaedics team and looks forward to meeting you and your gorgeous dogs.
