Brooke Zammit-Ross

DipVN

Kia Ora, I am a recent graduate, having completed a Diploma in Veterinary Nursing in 2025. Throughout my studies and practical experience, I have developed a strong foundation in both companion and farm animal care. My experience includes conducting home visits for clients in the Akaroa region, assisting with farm animal handling, and working as a nurse assistant in an after-hours veterinary clinic.

During my training, I discovered a particular interest in orthopaedics. I find it incredibly rewarding to be part of a team that guides patients through each stage of their rehabilitation. Being able to witness and contribute to their progress and recovery is a highlight of the role and has deepened my passion for veterinary nursing.

Outside of work, I continue to enjoy caring for animals, including my dog, Taiko, and my blind cat, Haedi. In my spare time, I enjoy exploring the outdoors, going on road trips, and spending time with friends.
