Brent is a small animal orthopaedic surgeon with expertise in diagnosing lameness and treating cruciate rupture, joint conditions, fractures, growth deformities and spinal disease in dogs and cats.
After a BVSc at Massey University, Brent completed specialist residency training at the University of Liverpool, UK. He became a Diplomate of the European College of Veterinary Surgeons in 2011.
Brent is passionate about helping vets deliver clinical excellence safely. He is an educator at Practical CPD and co-founded OssAbility to help vets perform surgery safely. Brent co-created Zero Pain Philosophy to ensure the comfort of all patients.
Brent has a fluffy cat called Luna and a soft spot for greyhounds. In his downtime, he enjoys walking and running in the Port Hills.
